How this list works

Every gift above is something you can buy from a San Diego shop in this guide. Each price was checked on the shop's own site on October 30, 2026, and we left out anything sold out. Prices and stock change through the season, so the shop's page always has the final word.

Three of the four shops are in North Park, two of them on the same block of Ray St, so most of this list is one walk.

North Park: Ray Street folk art and home

Artelexia (3803 Ray St) sells Mexican folk art and gifts: serape table runners made in Mexico, La Monarca's café de olla, the Plantas cookbook, painted milagros and a serape dog poncho from Baja. On the same block, Casa Palma Dulce (3830 Ray St, Suite B) has Mystical Lotería, palm baskets, clay candle holders and Moroccan slippers.

North Park: for the cat people

Purrgatory (2879 University Ave) is the stop for cat lovers, with kitten earrings, felted cat ornaments and a wool cat cave.

Seaport Village: socks

Sock Harbor (869 W Harbor Dr) is all socks; the gingerbread house pair is an easy stocking stuffer.
